Construction Quality Control/Quality Assurance
Scotrun, PA Scotrun, PA Temporary Full-time Temporary Full-time $40 - $55 an hour $40 - $55 an hour Kraemer Brothers is a Commercial General Contractor and is currently hiring a Quality Control Coordinator for a project in Scotrun, PA.
This would be a limited term position for the duration of the project, estimated at eight weeks.
This is a technical position providing construction phase quality control through all phases of the project.
This position is an integral part of Kraemer Brothers' construction management team.
Duties will include:
Initialize and perform pre-installation meetings for all trades/spec sections Inspect work-in-place for compliance with contract documents and/or submittals/Ensure installed products and methods match contract documents and submittals Coordinate inspections by Soils Engineer, Steel Inspector, Building Inspector, etc.
Attend weekly Foreman's Meetings and Bi-Weekly Progress Meetings and prepared to discuss QAQC Items/Issues Create issues/deficiencies for items incorrect, follow up to ensure corrections are complete/acceptable Perform pre-punch and punch lists.
Follow up to ensure items are completed/corrected Assist with closeout documentation such as as-built drawings, O&Ms, Owner Training, etc.
Be able to communicate with workers on QAQC issues and concerns, verbally and written Assist with safety observations, correct or at minimum inform others of concerns
Qualifications:
Experience with all aspects of building construction including, but not limited to:
Earthwork/Sitework, Concrete Foundations and Flatwork, Structural Steel, Glu-Lam/Heavy Timber, Wood Framing, Precast Concrete, Roofing Systems, Masonry, Metal Studs and Drywall, Doors/Windows, Ceiling systems, Paint, Flooring, Weather/Vapor Barrier, Bathroom Partitions/Accessories, Food Service Equipment, Cabinets/Countertops/Wood Finishes Qualified candidates will be able to analyze and interpret construction drawings and specifications as well as subcontractor submittals Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel and will be expected to use Autodesk document management as well as Revu Blubeam software.
This position requires experience, knowledge and skills for effective decision making and resolution of technical project issues Qualified candidates will be good communicators and able to collaborate with the Kraemer Brothers construction management team and subcontractors in resolving project issues Job Types:
